Jellison Traders is a combination of many things related to Estate Cleanout Servicing…

• We perform estate cleanout services.

• We have a retail store that is open seasonally and by appointment, selling antiques, vintage, retro, modern, second hand, and re-purposed items. We also sell out of other "group shops" in Southern Maine and are working to increase our on-line selling presence through e-commerce and social media platforms (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Instagram).

• We work with local scrap yards to conscientiously dispose of junk metal. We also work with an E-waste recycler to dispose of outdated electronics.

• We coordinate with a handful of Antique Shops/Malls in central and southern Maine to provide their customers with furniture delivery services as needed.

• We participate in many antique shows/flea markets/fairs throughout New England, to try to get the most estates items into the hands of new folks who will cherish them. Two favorites are The Brimfield Flea Market in Brimfield, MA and Vintage Bazaar which moves around New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Experience

Roland Jellison has been involved in the "trade" since being a teenager in the 80's. He has been a regular vendor at the famed Brimfield, MA, Flea Market and Antique Show for nearly 20 years. He has worked for both Thomaston Place Auction Galleries and Farrin’s Country Auctions.

After operating out of garages and storage units for years, Jellison Traders was finally able to consolidate into a large warehouse and retail location in Augusta of 2012.

Fun Facts about Jellison Traders

• Roland's two previous careers include being a commercial plumber and a lobster-boat fisherman.

• Lisa was an award-winning floral designer for 20 years, and still occasionally does free-lance floral design work around Central Maine.

• Did you know you can buy farm fresh eggs at Jellison Traders? They own a couple dozen laying hens, and always have fresh eggs available in a mini-fridge by the checkout counter.
